Hi Everyone! Hope you guys are doing extremely well.

I’m back for Week 9 of the Coding Period with a blog post. It was a very busy and long week because my third year second semester exams were taking place. It was difficult to manage everything (GSOC, internships, semester exams), but the satisfaction from succeeding was indescribable.

I just finished my semester exams, and it surprised me that we only have a few days left for GSOC completion, despite the fact that we have completed all of our project-related work. It went very well because there was so much to learn and implement with like-minded people, interaction, implementation, communication, and so on.

  • The front end work of creating the UI and modernising it with new menu items on the site is completed.
  • With the help of the local Firebase emulator suite and dummy data sets, we have finished the backend.
  • Added the work flow of the project with detailed documentation on how to do everything step by step.

We had a meet with the mentor to discuss the next tasks that needed to be completed, and the mentors suggested some changes that needed to be made in the next two weeks, which are the final two weeks of the GSOC.

TO DO:-

1. Removing grid button from navbar.

2. Redesign My Codefeed Page.

3. Create Wiki’s for Each Design Components

4. Integrate New Design Components to Firebase.

5. Create Wiki’s for Each Design Components

6. Fix Bugs and add Responsiveness to Codelabz UI Design

All are some minute changes which we will complete accordingly to the feasibility we have and that’s it our project will be completed.
