As we continue to add cutting-edge features to the ScoreShots platform it’s one of our highest priorities to ensure designing your graphics is as simple as possible.

Being launched this week you’ll see a new way to not only select your templates but edit them.

Selecting templates can now be done by orientation and specific features of a template, such as; Family Packs, Roster Import, Your Specific Premium Templates, SlideStories, and more. You can also start a “From Scratch” template by orientation as well. No need to look up dimensions!

With this new launch, once you click “Create a Post” on the main dashboard, you’ll see one large template list and can completely filter based on your exact needs. Now, your Premium templates and Custom templates will also show up in this list as well! No need to choose between SlideStories, Premium, or Standard you can find all of the available templates in this one list.

Also, launching with the new template filtering is the option to sort the list of template by Newest or Oldest. Closely followed by Most Popular which should be available by next week.

Finally, one of our most anticipated features on the template filtering list is the ability to “Favorite” or “heart” templates you want to find quickly. Users will see a outline of a heart in the top right corner of every template. Click on that heart to favorite the template and next time the list of templates is open favorites will automatically show up at the top.

Now, template filtering was not the only area there are improvements. Editing a template is simplified as well. You will now see 3 overarching “steps” on the side menu bar; Background, Graphics, and Text, as well as a “More” button. The top three menus will continue to work almost exactly the same as before, but we have combined them for more ease of use and a lot less clicking.

The area you will see some new features will be under the “More” button. “Elements” will now show you an option to add “Shapes” to your template, as well as, texture. This library will continue to expand in the future, as well, showcasing stock images and png objects.

Under “Effects” you’ll now be able to adjust not only the motion graphics for your template, but the video options too! And, finally you can now find Layers without having to expose a hidden menu. You can arrange your layers, rename them, and duplicate them all from this menu.

A few other additions are the quick tools added to the main screen like Undo and Redo, as well as Zoom In, Out, and Reset.

Finally, one of our most requested features “Resizing” is now optimized for your easy use. Resize your graphic to the perfect ratio using one of our pre-made sizes or add in your own “Custom” size as well.

All of these improvements come from direct feedback from you, the user. So please, tell us what you think, and let us know what else you’d like to see! Thank you for your continued support and partnership.
