Media Manager Outage
[UPDATE]
As of 2PM, September 19th, this issue has been resolved. Assets should begin loading preview images properly in the next few moments, as new instances of our revised image resizer spin up.
If you encounter any further weirdness on this issue, let us know!
The original story has been enclosed below.
We’re aware of an issue affecting media library access for some clients today, as a result of a permissions error with Amazon Web Services. Affected users may notice that their library does not contain the expected number of files when accessed from within the creation engine.
Rest assured that no data has been lost; the bug is purely visual. We’re working on this issue to restore access to affected users, and will deploy a fix as soon as possible.
If you are experiencing this issue in the meantime, one potential workaround is to visit the media manager proper by clicking the “Media” button found in your navbar. By downloading a given asset directly to your machine and adding it to a graphic as a manual upload, you should be able to continue creating with it.
We realize that this workaround is not ideal, and apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. Your experience is our number one priority; and we will endeavor to resolve it quickly.
As always, feel free to reach out to us directly via our support tool if there’s anything else we can do to help at this time.
