Release Updates -May 2nd

April has been a busy month at ScoreShots and it’s only getting busier. One of our greatest updates this week is our Baseball and Softball XML templates. You asked and we answered. We are giving you more pitching and hitting stats. We’ve added integral baseball stats such as WHIP and OBP, plus many more!

🐛🔨 What’s New?

• BASEBALL XML TEMPLATES! You can find this template in our platform by going to our main template filter and searching “Template Type/Baseball”. A couple of others should be in by the end of the week!

• We’ve added the ability to search for Dynamic XML and Widget templates. You can view this by navigating to the template filter screen and checking the “Dynamic Templates” checkbox. All of our Dynamic XML and Widget templates now have a purple diamond icon on them as well for easy identification in any filter list.

• We’ve added the ability for users to click a template to enlarge it. Then, it’s just a quick click on “create” to start editing.
• We’ve added the ability to load templates faster. So you will receive better performance when searching for templates. This is our official start to optimizing our progressive web app which you’ll read more about in, “On the Horizon”.
• Fixed a few🐛’s users were experiencing with stats locking while saving XML templates as custom (If you’re still seeing some issues here, please reach out to us and we’ll work with you individually to find a solution! Promise 🤝)
• Updated a 🐛 where saving a custom template twice caused the template to hang for users.
• Implemented a fix where unscheduling a post left the old timestamp on your published post.
• Ever accidentally hit the wrong button when creating and lost all of your work? Don’t worry, that shouldn’t happen ever again! We’ve added a notice to let you know you’re leaving the page and asks if you’d like to save your work.

☀ On the Horizon…

We’re making some major updates to our progressive web app to make it more reliable and easy to use.

A couple of key enhancements:

• We are updating our app-style navigation to include a mobile menu. This will make it much easier for users to navigate around the site right on your mobile device.
• We made improvement on the canvas to ensure that users have full functionality to create and edit a template no matter their screen size.
