Unscheduling Facebook Posts

Facebook recently made changes to their API system for Facebook page management to better keep your accounts safe. In doing so, they changed the way “unscheduling” works within ScoreShots. With these changes, you will have to reauthorize your Scoreshots account to have the option of removing posts that have been scheduled through our system. Until the following steps are done, you will still be able to schedule posts, but you will not be able to “unschedule” posts from ScoreShots.

Here are the steps to reauthorize Scoreshots for “unscheduling”
purposes:

  1. Remove the Facebook page from Scoreshots on the Team page by clicking the delete icon by the page.

2. Go to this link https://www.facebook.com/settingstab=business_tools&ref=settings and remove Scoreshots from the Business Integrations settings by clicking the checkbox next to the page and then clicking the “Remove” button.

3. Login to Scoreshots and add the Facebook page back. You also must be sure that you are an “Admin” of the page and not just an “Editor.” The “Admin” of the page will have to add this permission for “unscheduling” to work.

This action must be done on every Facebook page that is on your Scoreshots account in order for “unscheduling” to work. Let’s hope Facebook leaves alone their API system for a while!
