Release announcement: Working From Home 2.0

The world has seen work habits change quite a bit over the past few years due to the global pandemic. More and more people have become used to working from home. This setup gives employees the freedom and the possibility to manage their own time.

We at Scoro are determined to start taking working from home even more seriously. As of today, we will start emptying out our offices and enforce a working from home policy by introducing the Home Office Rotation Service Enforcement, or HORSE for short (not to be confused with PONY, which stands for Planned Online Night Yawn).

Within the HORSE framework, every day one of our employees will house their whole team and other colleagues so that everybody could work from home, someone’s home. This will strengthen bonds and team collaboration as now one can get angry about a pile of used and unwashed dishes in the kitchen sink in other households as well.

Imagine waking up to the nice smell of freshly ground coffee, prepared by your colleague even before you have woken up. Or startling a pet by accidentally eating from its bowl or the other way around.

We tend to cherish things that are homemade. From now on, everything you do will be homemade — meetings, scripts, designs, etc. Bet your regular resident fly will be jealous of all the other bugs that get way more attention.

If for some reason there is not enough “office” space, Scoro will also provide office cubicle tents to make the transition to HORSE even smoother for those employees who need to work outside, in the garden or near the playground.

We plan to open up a karaoke bar in the freed-up office space with all our favourite songs, including:
