Expeditions is a competitive strategy game of exploration that leverages multi-function cards and engine-building to navigate a dystopian world. As a player, you’ll explore the land and enhance your asymmetric abilities to collect glory and riches. All with the goal of becoming the richest faction in Europa.
My Experience
Rating: 8.5 out of 10
Based on three two-player games that averaged 2.2 hours in length.
Expeditions is billed as the sequel to Scythe, and I think it accomplishes that connection well. If you’ve played Scythe, then you’re already familiar with the dystopian world in which Expeditions is set. How you navigate in that world feels quite different, though.
