Shuya Gong, a senior at Harvard & a venture designer at IDEO co-labs is coming to teach a workshop about Design Thinking.

Should you come? Of course you could come.

How come? She’s just the coolest.

How cool? Well, she once made Amazon’s Alexa and Apple’s Siri have a conversation about Justin Bieber and many thought this was the end of civilization as we know it.

She even won IBM’s Watson Challenge last year with her company called Inquisitive which uses cognitive computing as a personal coach for people through education.

She has worked at IDEO colabs as a venture and interaction designer since last summer where she has done deep dives on both blockchain to form digital identities and food emerging technologies to create a more transparent food system. She teaches design thinking workshops at Harvard and meets with many VC’s to talk about the latest revolutionary ideas she sees.

No, but seriously, here’s why you should come:

If you are interested in the intersection between entrepreneurship and social impact

Design thinking will help you build empathy, which many leaders argue is the most important thing in business.

If graphic design is the language you speak,

Design thinking helps you invest more time in the process rather than the final product, which, often ensures a better final product.

If you are a builder, maker, or experimenter,

Design thinking teaches you the tools to effectively prototype quickly before investing large amounts of money… and losing it.

If you want to do good in the world,

Ok you get the point.

Design. Thinking. Helps. It will be your key to a successful future.

Seriously. Money back guaranteed.

Just kidding it’s for free.

You should come.

Check out our Facebook event for more information and see you Tuesday!
