Introduction
Hello there. It’s great to connect with you all again after a short hiatus. Life happens but we keep moving. A lot has happened on Medium in the recent past. The platform is once again experiencing a season of change with publication closures, editors and writers exit as well as several other issues. These changes have left many pondering on the next line of action. In this prevailing atmosphere of uncertainty, why start a publication? My response, ‘Why not?’
There is no time like the present right?. Medium is going to keep changing but that should not stop us from moving forward. Change is one constant that we have to accept
What is Screen Gems?
Screen Gems is my new publication discussing one of my favorite things — movies and films. I have always loved movies and films and seek to share this love with you. Movies and films are a source of motivation, inspiration, education, and entertainment. They teach life lessons while educating us about the past, chronicling the present, and giving us a glimpse into the future.
I want to make Screen Gems a space dedicated to all things movies and films where we talk about new movies as well as old; celebrate talented actors, actresses, screenwriters, directors, and producers as well…
