When I heard about this movie, my first question was ‘What does UNCLE mean, and what sort of a movie title is ‘The Man from UNCLE?’. The trailer didn’t answer any of those questions, so I had to wait till I watched the movie. It turns out U.N.C.L.E is an acronym for United Network Command for Law and Enforcement — the new intelligence unit formed at the end of the mission

Synopsis
The movie begins with Napoleon Solo (Henry Cavill), a thief turned CIA operative arriving in East Germany on a mission to extract Gaby Teller (Alicia Vikander) and provide her safe passage to West Germany. Gaby is a mechanic and the daughter of Dr. Udo Teller, a former Nazi scientist who had been collaborating with the United States but suddenly disappears. The CIA needs Gaby to meet with her Uncle Rudi who they suspect is working with Dr. Teller’s kidnappers to build a nuclear bomb.
