Synopsis
John and Laura Taylor (Morris Chesnut and Regina Hall) are a wealthy but childless couple. After 3 miscarriages, the couple opts for surrogacy. The lawyer briefs them about a likely candidate, a beautiful young waitress named Anna Walsh (Jaz Sinclair). Laura visits Anna at her workplace and then invites her and her boyfriend Mike (Theo Rossi) to their home for dinner. Mike shows himself to be a shady character. Anna goes to John’s office requesting a ride home as Mike did not pick her up after a doctor’s appointment.
John and Laura receive a call from Anna. John goes to their house to find that Mike has beaten Anna up and the police have been called. Anna is advised to find a place to stay but she says she has none. John asks her to stay with them for the time being. As Anna’s pregnancy progresses, she develops an unhealthy obsession with John. Mike is unhappy about this as his plan was to threaten to keep the baby and extort money from the couple. He threatens to harm Anna and then attacks her at the Taylors’ home. Anna…
