With the announcement of the new Cocaine Bear movie coming out in February 2023 and all the news surrounding it, and the subsequent revival of the whole Pablo Eskobear story, I’ve decided it’s fine time to come forward and tell my own side of the same story. It’s a story that’s never been told before. Even my closest friends and family have no idea the story I’m about to tell. It’s a story that began the same day, and is ultimately, just as outrageous.

My name is Peter McNutt (not my real name, for obvious reasons) and this is my side of the Cocaine Bear story — the other story; a true story that never happened.

It all started on September 11, 1985. I was walking home from the bus stop after pulling my graveyard shift at the hospital when I noticed something out of the ordinary at the end of Mr. Myers’ driveway — what appeared to be a big bundle of ropes and nylon flapping in the wind. What the fuck? My curiosity took over and as I approached, upon closer inspection, I realized it was a parachute …and a dead skydiver.

It wasn’t just any ol’ skydiver though, this guy looked military, outfitted with a bulletproof vest, night vision goggles, two side arms, and tethered to two large, military-looking duffel bags. I looked around. It seemed I…
