Goa Se Malpe — The coastal road trip
I was chilling solo for quite a time,
Awesome time with self now its time for a change,
My boys will be here anytime soon,
We are hitting a road trip in the Goa Malpe range,
One side you can see a lot of coconut trees,
and the other has an awesome sea view,
The plan is to hit Gokarna, and Om beach,
We saw cocks for the fight, it’s something new,
Drive to Kudle beach and trek to the main hill,
Ended seeing waves flying high after hitting the rock,
Eagle flying over our heads, the weather is chilled,
On the trek down, Policia asked us for a bribe after seeing our stock.
It’s a long trip and the next stop is jog falls,
National Highway 69 in the rains was a happening pass,
Ate Maggi on the road surrounded by the fog,
There is funny silence because G drops some gas.
Sweetest pineapples are served here at jog falls,
Few more hours drive to Malpe through rainy forests,
The ride from Malpe to Kute beach rings balls,
Sea on both sides and peeps are high on Maal.
We missed the plan to visit Marry’s Island,
It is risky weather to travel via ferries,
Finally, a bottle of wine in the woods,
Sitting in a waterfall and the vibes it caries.
On the way back, jog falls were the decided stop,
ladders down and up, people can feel tired and broken,
Not drained enough to miss the River rafting,
But it was India losing the semis, that made us feel heartbroken.
Time to reach Hubli, the ride will end tonight,
Drove fast to reach on time, Still slept all night in the car,
How can we avoid that every trip fight, deposit returned,
Bus to Pune ended the trip, let me tell you more stories in a bar!
