4 protective gears for your motorcycle ride

The saying “Four wheels move a body, Two wheels move a soul” is true when you experience it. Though riding looks fun it comes with safety and responsibilities. Here are the 4 things for a safe and memorable ride.

Helmet:

Using a Full Face helmet is the best choice. The common thing we miss out is Chin strapping. Never skip that. Keeping the Visor clean without scratches will help especially during the night and rainy rides. To reduce fog formation you can go for Anti-fog film for visor.

Boots:

Generally, boots that cover till the ankle is good to go. They prevent us from the direct object impact and ankle twists. For a rainy ride choose a waterproof boot or waterproof boot covers that can be worn above the boots. For extreme winter conditions, it is better to wear the mid-calf boots that can cover the lower leg.

Tips:

• If you are wearing lace-up boots, tighten up your lace properly.

Riding jacket and trousers:

Riding jacket will be a bit heavier usually. Also, it has extra protectors for the back, shoulder, and elbow. Some are waterproof and have a removable thermal lining which is helpful during winter rides.

Riding trousers have protection for your legs and also adds a better feeling while chafing with the seat despite road conditions.

It is good to have a Riding jacket and trousers. If they are not affordable then go for the knee and elbow guard.

Gloves:

Though most people miss the feeling of accelerating while using gloves, it will have enhanced grip and control over the handlebars. It protects your palm and knuckles. Also very helpful during a winter ride where your hands would get numb easily.
