Scribbles & Tea is a publication for everyone. It is open to all writers and publishes on all subjects.

Welcome to Scribbles & Tea! We are really excited to put together this publication to share more stories from great writers here on Medium!

Our requirements are simple, even for new authors. As long as you follow the submission guidelines, it should be a swift process.

What sets us apart:

• We are open to previously published work.
• We encourage new authors to write for us.

Requirements

• Follow this publication.
• Leave a comment with your Medium ID to be added as a writer.

We will leave a clap 👏 on your comment when you are added as a writer.

Submission Guidelines:

• Topics
  We do not have specific topics that we publish on. What we do require is that your work is not graphic, overly-violent, sexist, racist, etc.
  NOTE: We do reserve the right to request that you put a disclaimer at the beginning of your stories that the ideas presented represent that of the author, not the publication.
• Proofread before submitting
  Please review your work before submitting. You can use tools such as Grammarly for this.
• No AI-generated stories
  You may use AI-generated images but the writing must be written by you.
  NOTE: Cite all of the images in your work, both generated by AI and not.
• Open to self-published and draft stories
  You may submit a draft story to the publication but you may also submit self-published stories.
  NOTE: By publishing it yourself first and then submitting it to the publication, you can immediate start getting views even before we get around to reviewing it.

Submission times

Give us up to three days to get back to you about your stories. Times may vary depending on the time of year and how many submissions we get.

If for any reason your story is denied, you can always resubmit with changes.
