A Stick Along a Stream

Floating along
but strong

Water is my sanctuary
I feel rooted in its movement
bound to its power
reassured by the peace its proven

fluidity is my anchor

You can’t stop a stream from flowing
like you can’t stop time from passing
I’m not scared of the unknowing
but watching life bypassing
