Being Human

It’s okay to forgive, forget and heal

Photo by Priscilla Du Preez on Unsplash

there are no words between us
but there is that sadness which lingers
we both know that we are trying to heal.

when we speak we know
about that hurt and that anxiety
memories they keep clouding us quietly.

when we meet we know it’s still not late
to heal and forgive, we try but sometimes we fail
and it’s okay to break.

Stories that matter. Emotion first and foremost.
