I believe she knew, she knew that they wouldn’t work.
Far to different, in every sense.
Love was simply not enough to hold them together.
For what is love really, then a combination of other things put together?
He seemed like a caring person, except she couldn’t picture herself in his arms.
Maybe, he would be the type to hold her hand while she read her favorite book.
Except, she didn’t care to find out. The spark wasn’t there.
Emotions are real, if she didn’t feel it in her soul,
she knew it wasn’t worth it.
The truth was, she didn’t need someone at the moment. She had promised herself healing, space, distance.
She needed to recenter, reconnect —
Alone.
