I Stood at the Top of a Mountain

Dazzled by the view

I stood at the top of a mountain
dazzled by the view.
I peered into a flower
and wondered how it knew
to be a flower and not a patch of moss.

That was when I realized I am I.
I belong as much as a mountain
as much as a flower. Not less
and certainly not more.
And, yes, for me that is enough.
