In My Bed

Questing hands in the dark

Hurried breaths undercover

Your heartbeat like a summer rain

Cooling kisses sprinkled on my skin

Your hair sliding underneath my fingertips

I could live in your arms

I could drown in your heat

If only you’d let me

But if this as far as I can go

And as much as I will get of you

I still have no regrets
