Let it go

The pain of the past
the fear of the future
The need to be perfect;
the expectations that make you feel worthless

I know you are tired,
of not living a life that you love.
You’re trying to fit your galactic personality,
into a mold the size of your eye

Let it all go
the need to fit in,
the dreams of having many friends,
the fear of being alone

Forgive yourself
for taking everything too seriously
Learn patience and look closely;
not everything that glitters is gold

Let it go
The need to control the outcome
the pressure to compete with strangers
the fear of complete failure

Our lives are temporary,
every minute counts
Stop wasting precious time
on things that bring you no joy

Let it go
Our shoulders were not built
to carry the weight of the world
So drop all of your burdens

Choose happiness instead
