Let me,
help you carry your burden.
Weight shared makes lighter weight.

Let me,
offer you a warm cup of coffee, tea perhaps?
And listen to your story with a pair of empathic ears.

Let me,
take that sorrow off your shoulder.
For a day, an hour, a minute or even a second.
