May the Force…
I asked the boy: “What IS the Force?”
He smiled, eyes sparkling, a fan of Star Wars…
And answered: “It’s a mystery and an energy flow,
Many try to master it, but it has a will of its own.”
“How so?”
“The Force is everywhere, yet not for everyone to wield,
Even for those who practise no-stop and know every drill.
It’s not about strength, nor swaying your sword.
Duality has Jedi perceived and knows how to walk this cord.”
A smile broad…
We looked at each other, conversation on pause,
When silence carries the gaze, you can hear the beat of the Force.
Subtle. Something’s emerging, tender stalks, roots entwined,
Pushing clinging clay and slipping sands aside.
Have you tried?
Sometimes you can hear the beat of the Force as pulse,
Feel it roll, flood nearby and far away galaxies all at once,
Connecting all life, no space, nor time in-between
Illusion of separation is smashed to smithereens.
Light-stream
Infusing every petal of every flower, every root, every leaf,
Regulating both atoms and galaxies, a real Commander-in-Chief,
Smile, pause, hear the tune
May the Force be with you.

Thank you for reading this poem, it is inspired, among others, by the poem of Warren "Storyteller" Brown “May the Force Be with You”, by an article by Paul Mulliner “What Living-Cell Biochemistry reveals about the Physics of Consciousness: The puzzle of coherence” and by conversations with my son.
