Modern Man and Glory

The blanket of stars

Crinkle in a smile

Beyond the black abyss

The Half Moon

Survive in the hopes of the full glory

Beyond its fraying stitches

The white clouds

Pray for the blue sky to return

By chasing the greys away

Then and now

Mother Earth finds a way

For her healing

Whereas modern man

Chokes upon the dusty smoke

And drowns in his tears

To mourn the loss of a lost chance

The very chance Nature willingly offers

Each day.
