The silence inside us
touches the stars
and brings light
into the deep ocean
of our heart,
helping us connect
with the cosmic,
bringing us meaning and purpose,
it’s the breath of the universal,
the song that never ends,
the creative intelligence
guiding the Universe
and shaping all life.
And there’ll be a day
we’ll become again
this silent ocean
in all the space
between the stars,
we’ll be again
the song that never ends,
the conscious silence
inside all life,
we’ll be the starlight becoming love
and moments of experience,
for every human life
is a transient expression
of the Universe.
And meanwhile,
in our boundless inner sky,
the whisper of eternity
in our heart
is the Universe
knowing something of itself.
