Sometimes I wish
It would rain forever
The sound of the water drops
Like the sweet melody of the tawny owl
Rocking me in the night
As I fall asleep

Sometimes I wish

Drive away the weight off my shoulders
Dilute my tears full of sad memories
Heal my skin of its scars
And wash my soul from its pains

Sometimes I wish
It would rain forever
Because it’s only there
In this infinite body of water, I breathe in
