Sometimes There’s a Day
For all the silence in this world
--
Life is larger than it seems,
more beautiful
than we can say in words,
and when we find some stillness
in our heart,
an inner harmony of silence
unfolding into inspiration
evolves the inner lens
of our awareness
and life becomes a journey
filled with meaning.
Though we’re here
just briefly in this world,
like a swirl appearing
in boundless silence
touching all the stars,
or rain dissolving into mist
that lingers on an endless ocean,
knowing every choice we make
is somehow
woven through
with everything that is
brings some meaning to our life
while all the fleeting moments pass.
And then sometimes there’s a day
when the intelligence that orchestrates
the shape of flowers,
the silent mystery that guides all life,
the conscious space
holding every star
and every human heart,
brings a knowing
woven through the silence
as though the whole universe
knows every breath
and every moment.
