The Edges of Winter’s Solstice

A poem

Photo by Josh Hild on Unsplash

When the first seasonal
snow flurries fall freely
I find myself growing dreamy
watching its soft swishy swirls
gracefully shimmering

The mood welcomes a sensual symmetry
as my shoulders wings ease
and my vision becomes sweetly blurry
lessening my default of worry

Stories that matter. Emotion first and foremost.

Poetry is my first love. Inspired by intuition & my chunky ginger cat. My favorite place is by the sea, sipping espressos and daydreaming.
