Are you familiar with the concept of the Time Value of Money?

It’s a great concept that can be very important to understand in life.

If you aren’t familiar with it, a quick online search gives me a definition that it’s the concept where

the money available at present is worth more than the identical sum in the future due to its potential earning capacity.

So a hundred bucks today is worth more than a hundred dollars a few years from now. Yes, that’s a pretty basic description, but if you want to look into it further, there are many sources online for more info.

I’m just as interested, if not more interested, in the Money Value of Time.

Can you assign a monetary value to your time?

We’ve all done that at some time in some way. If we ever worked a job for someone other than ourselves, there’s been a certain amount of money that has changed hands for time served or project done.

Even if it’s by project not by specific hours, there was a time allotment you gave that project.
