They become mesmerized
by its illusory beauty
However, the structure rests
on unstable ground
It makes haunting, hollow sounds
The walls of lies might gleam against
the shadow of this pyramid
No matter how beautiful the grid is
Lies always sting
When the wind of truth blows
It exposes every hidden fake stone
It creates a tune and writes a song
that is everyone’s favorite
whether you play it alone
listen to it on your own
or sing it along
