Tracks in the Sand

Foot prints on the page

Photo by Andrea Natali on Unsplash

The foot prints of seabirds
leave scribbles on the sand
cross-stitched scratches
where the water meets the land.

I too leave my footprints
all over my work
tracks that show what I felt
and the lessons I learned.

Stories that matter. Emotion first and foremost.
