Will set you free, a poem

You sit here and you forget
all she’s done for you
truth is we both know
you’d be nowhere
without her

She made you better and this is how
you repay her
we know the truth
but we’re forced to lie for you

I can’t help but dream of screaming out the truth
you owe her the courtesy
let her know it wasn’t all her fault
set her free
