When It Was Then

Love was my friend
four lips, two smiles
this bliss you lend
feel like fresh child

Dear dream, nightmare
you leave, cruel fake
I wake, you’re there
grim grip no break

Flesh home, we kiss
slip doubt, mind ponder
see stars shake fist
I sleep, you wander

Then it was when
love loan called in
friend never again
torn heart, warm pen
