Call Me Without a Name

What We Cannot Live Without

On fingertips, I wander,
where there is a delight.
In the corners of the house,
that are drowning in oblivion.

In dreams and in reality
You can find me.
I am pain, but sweet,
and a rumble of wind.

With me, you fall asleep,
In the morning you wake up.
And I am in you, and I am gone,
I depend on awakening.

Sometimes I live long,
Sometimes I die quickly.
While in your life I smolder,
then there is meaning for you too.

For some — a fleshless matter,
For others, wealth by the handful.
I am a handful of energy,
sweeping away a bunch of perils.

I’m the reason to live,
for me, one dies,
and on the corner of two roads,
a man spills his coffee.

I am a momentary breath of air,
with a breath of fluffy oblivion.
You don’t think of anything else,
when you’re in my lap, you’re asleep.

I come into life on tiptoe,
and if I come out, you’re a tree without a root.
I am a conspiracy or a secret
I give you strength if you’re strong.

You wonder who I am,
call me but without a name.
I am YOUR DREAM —
hold me, kiss me.
