Words elude me

Floating just above the reach of my brain

I try to focus

They leap away in a game of tag

Dancing, swirling

Ever out of reach

There — other words

Hiding in amidst the fog

Within my grasp

But they are just low-hanging words

Slower, dumber

They will have to do
