GLASSPASS: The limited utility NFT collection for Script TV
Script Network launched Script TV in beta in December 2022, and has seen tremendous progress and new milestones hit almost weekly since. Some of these milestones has included over 25,000,000 minutes watched on the platform, alongside 50,000 users using the platform since it’s launch. We’re excited to proceed to the next phase — with the launch of GLASSPASS this term.
Part of the excitement for Script TV, is that it is the first watch to earn live TV network, where users can earn up daily rewards whilst watching TV on their TV screens, laptop / desktop or mobile. However, to earn daily rewards, users have to own at least one ScriptGLASS (digital glasses) in their wallet. These will be available to mint for a nominal cost post token launch, or, you can possibly mint a common pair for free by trading Script Points in for a pair of glasses. Common pairs work just like Rare and Superscript glasses, but you will earn less tokens per day with them compared to the others, alongside common glasses (by nature), being less rare in terms of collection value.

So, how do you get Rare or Superscript glasses? There is essentially three ways.
- Own a GLASSPASS (more on this below)
- Buy Rare or Superscript glasses through the minting page on the dashboard within your profile (not get available to mint). This will be purchasable in BNB, ETH or SPAY.
- Buy from the secondary marketplace from an existing user who already owned a Rare or Superscript pair
So with options 2 and 3 being self explanatory, let’s look at option 1 — owning a GLASSPASS. We will in this article break down what the GLASSPASS is, how to get one, and what you get once you have one.
What is GLASSPASS?
GLASSPASS is a limited NFT collection that is simply what you probably imagine it to be — a pass for glasses. This is a limited collection of only 1,500. This will be available to mint for everyone, although those with a ‘ScriptList’ role will have the ability to mint it first. By owning one you have the opportunity to do the following.
Burn the GLASSPASS: By burning the pass, you get a guaranteed Superscript of glasses. Giving you the rarest set of glasses before everyone else, and having the set of glasses that yields the maximum amount of rewards per day. Please note, the Superscript glasses are only usable post TGE launch.
Hold the GLASSPASS: By holding the pass, you do not get glasses, but you get unrivalled benefits, including free cinema / festival tickets, beta access to new product launches before everyone else, premium access to exclusive content. Beyond this, you will ultimately own and hold a pass that will be inherently more rare than it originally was, given that many others would have burned for glasses.
This decision on whether to burn or hold is not timed, and holders can decide to burn or hold whenever they wish. GLASSPASS will also be available to transfer, buy and sell immediately after minting.
The price will be announced within a week of release, with the expected release of GLASSPASS being August. GLASSPASS comes with a bundle of SCPT tokens which is claimable to those who has the NFT on the 1st December 2023. You will be able to buy a GLASSPASS.
