(SCPT) Launch Info — TGE 20th December 2023
We are just days away from the SCPT token launch — a long awaited launch to drive the Script Ecosystem further. After over 2 years of development, hundreds of thousands of lines of code written, and over 200,000 users taking part, this date marks a significant date in film and television, as our goal is to change the way its viewed forever. Today we dive in on some launch aspects, what to expect and more.
Ecosystem Structure
For those who may be new to the ecosystem, Script Network is a layer one blockchain. It has two tokens, SCPT and SPAY. SCPT, is the token that will launch on the 20th December, with SPAY, launched in the next few weeks.

Claim Portal
The claim portal and how to claim will be announced on Tuesday 19th December on all socials, alongside updated here on this medium article. This is to prevent scams and fake misleading links. Until we announce it across our socials DO NOT listen to anyone claiming that the portal is open. This applies to all investors from seed round right through to public round. ALL token claims will be done on BNB.
KYC Investors
Over the last week a portion of our investors had to go through a KYC process for Script Network to remain complaint in regards to our global activities. As a general rule, KYC for token claims will not close for the forseeable future but there will be a cut off from 8am UTC on Wednesday 20th December. This means any users who KYC AFTER this time, may not get chance to claim in time. We urge that if you want to KYC, do it before then, otherwise you will have to wait til later in the day on Wednesday to have your opportuity. To clarify, KYC will not close, but you can only guarantee to claim your tokens on time if you complete KYC before 8am UTC on Wednesday. Anyone who is currently having issues, be sure to open a support ticket. All support tickets will be work through at the upmost urgency.
SPAY
SPAY, as many are aware, is the gas token for Script Blockchain, and the reward token for Script TV. This, like most utility tokens in dual token economies, will not launch on the same day as SCPT. SPAY will launch within a few weeks of SCPT. This means you can still claim SPAY from watching TV, as well as mint with it, but there will be no liquidity on exchanges until a few weeks after 20th December.
Exchanges
Script Network is humbled to have got offers from over 15 exchanges, and have confirmed to launch on three exchanges at TGE 🎉. This includes global campaigns from the great partners we are working with and look forward to seeing you on the exchanges! It will not launch on any DEX at TGE. Exact exchanges will be announced within 24h of listing.
Script Blockchain
Due to SCPT launching, alongside a watch to earn token mechanism and staking platform, we decided to delay the launch of Script Blockchain for a few weeks. This is to ensure there is mass hysteria and confusion on all of the things going on in the ecosystem. For now, the focus is SCPT, the watch to earn mechanism growing from scratch, new channels launching, and an improvement to the overall platform and video infrastructure. Rome wasn’t built in a day, and we’re more confident than ever that our ecosystem — (with the right execution), will be the global leader in decentralised film and television for decades to come.
Until Script Blockchain goes to main net, the incentivised testnet continues.
Airdrop
Script Network will have two airdrop rounds, 1 being imminent, and the other taking place in late 2024. The first airdrop round will be announced surrounding mainnet launch of Script Blockchain. Incentivised testnet, and ecosystem quests / tasks continue. Early investors, ecosystem NFT holders and active users will be likely up for rewards, but a full post will follow on this.
Watch-to-Earn TV
The long awaited launch for the watch to earn platform is here. There will be videos and walkthroughs on how to navigate through it over the coming days / weeks. It will likely have some bugs, but we are proud to bring the first live TV reward mechanism to web3. Whilst we are here, there are over 60 channels being rolled out to enhance the viewing experience even further, alongside a range of features, with a goal to make this the best TV platform in the world.
Staking
Staking will go live on or within 24h of SCPT launch. Users can stake SCPT for more SCPT tokens and then soon after, SCPT, to get SPAY. APYs will vary with lock duration. This staking app will be further enhanced once Script Blockchain goes to mainnet.
