Script Network (SCPT) listing this December 20th 2023 — core details
For the past 2 years or so, the Script Network team of 17 (7 of which have been full time since day 1), set out to build an open source broadcasting network, with video infrastructure behind it. The goal — to democratize and decentralize live streaming at scale. We feel we are well on the path to doing just that, but we do have a number of milestones approaching as we aim to be the leader in web3 entertainment globally. The next step is TGE — and in this blog post we will break down some core aspects of the pending launch this month, and what to look out for further ahead.
Background and Milestones
Generally, we feel we are still ‘at the bottom of the mountain’ of which we are climbing during development, but we are pleased to have hit some significant milestones along the way, here are a few:

This has allowed us to be one of the highest used crypto protocols without a token launched in history.
Listing Info and Partners
Although delayed for a few reasons earlier in the year, we’re pleased to announce the launch of SCPT — the governance token for the Script Network ecosystem. As a reminder, we have included some further information on the use cases of SCPT:

Exchanges (CEX and DEXs):
Script Network will launch on a tier 1 exchange — which exchange this will be, will be announced on ~12th December. Script Network is a L1 (Layer one) blockchain, meaning (like most L1s or L2s), liquidity will be available on CEXs only upon launch.
However, the flow for claimers will be simple
1. Claim tokens on BNB chain through our portal on our website or on Magna.so (links to be given of both)
2. Either
2a. Head the CEX, open a deposit address, copy and paste that address and send the tokens to the exchange
2b. Transfer SCPT tokens from BNB to Script Blockchain via the Wanchain bridge (beta)
2c. Import your wallet to Script Blockchain (meaning your SCPT tokens are on Script Blockchain to stake / run nodes / use in the ecosystem)
We assume many will want to do 2a, which will be simple to do. We have decided to intentionally launched on a ‘core chain’ with low fees, alongside Script Blockchain, to give everyone the flexibility and ease to claim and trade as they wish. But our focus beyond claim date is to build and develop on Script Blockchain.

The above is subject to change, with possibilities of additions. Across these partners, we aim to develop a fruitful relationship both pre and post launch with their communities and respective platforms.
Further funding, Marketing and Tokenomics
Our tokenomics, like every project, slightly changes closer to launch, as it aligns with the goals and the ever changing market conditions. We have been humbled to receive significant demand to stretch our rounds toward our original hard cap, and thus, have added to our seed round, and added a round to bolster our marketing with KOLs / influncers. This is of course all for the good of Script Network — to give the team the tools to build the next generation live TV protocol. Our round size due to the above, will remain undisclosed until announced.
SPAY
SPAY is the gas token for Script Blockchain, and will be available to trade after the SCPT launch. For technical and reg purposes, we were unable to launch SPAY on an exchange the same day as SCPT, but SPAY will follow within 7–10 days maximum of this date, likely sooner than that. Nothing changes however - you can still get SPAY tokens from the faucet here: https://faucet.script.tv/
As well as this, you can still earn tokens using ScriptGlasses from launch. This is because the contract address will be live once we mine genesis block = on TGE day, but it just wont be available to sell / buy, only to accumulate.
Presale Investors
Those of you who took part in the earlier rounds through our Presale site would have to follow steps in order to claim, different to others. This is because, due to recent regulatory changes, and legal, KYC will be required for those who took part in the sale. This will be made available at least a week before the listing, giving plenty of time to complete. KYC verification takes 30 mins maximum to be approved if done correctly, and there will be a seperate standalone post on how to do this once its launched. If you do not wish to do this, or if you fail verification, your funds will be returned to you later this month.
Incentives will apply post launch to holders of tokens from the presale, as promised prior. For context, there was an intention to initiate pre launch staking, which did not transpire.
Script TV functionality and new channels
For detailed product and platform updates, be sure to check the #project-updates channel on discord. However, the Script TV platform will finally begin to roll out the action buttons such as glasses swapping, captcha, charging levels, and test minting for the select few over the next week or so. For those who are new to Script Network, we intentionally put design modals and action buttons up before implementing, so users are familiar with the design and where to find action buttons upon launch.
New channels will follow before, upon and after launch. Going into January, we expect to add channels monthly.

GLASSPASS Incentives and Airdrops
In order to avoid confusion in this post as the core focus is on launch information, posts later this month will detail the above. To answer what airdrops are based on however (since it is a common question asked) — they are largely based on activity on socials, taking part in Testnet, ownership of Script Network ecosystem NFTs (Glasspass, BearX), Zealy, usage on the platform and more.
