Who’s Listening anyway?

If I introduced her to you, which I wouldn’t, you’d say she was doe-like and precious
If I didn’t make the introductions she’d fly below all radars
She laughs when things are funny, she holds her tongue when things aren’t settled
She waits and listens and learns all matters, do you know the value of this?
I can’t hug her, can’t hold her, can’t lift her high enough for the ceilings
But I can tell…
