chaos
Embracing chaos might be the path to finding peace
Rachel Hollis
chaos cut through the page
with a serrated blade of brutality
one swipe of the knife
unable to separate
bluntness undeserved
you were the river tipping infinity
black pools spilling and filling and fuelling
disdain
you were the dark when it cried
that empty void
that chaos unexplainable
our chaos inside
the miles and miles of desperation
when miles echoed affinity
and chaos grew wild
confusing our fantasies
their ever-growing tendrils
seeding reseeding expanding
insanity
for that’s what it was
