Dawn’s Musing
A blue blush sieves moon
in sultry slush of silence,
dawn dampens yawning
nimble nib to galvanise,
a lotus unfurls the petals
muted, intense, exultant
kindled by joy's essence,
words drip resonant with
the bobbling lilt of light's
ripples unknotting murk
of retreating darkness,
plop sparkling on pale
before the Sun suffuses
perspectives of thoughts
in balmy layers of hues,
letters pitter-patter the
unsuspected crevices,
chinks in script's gravel
calmly beading to burgeon
rhythm of inks strung to
perfumed posy of poems
at first blink of the day.
