A decadent dream

Honey garden,
sugar castle,
syrup river,
wafer moat.
Waffle cone bricks stitched
with butter scotch icing,
it rains chocolate whip,
fudge mud landslide,
the mint chip bishop
slips in puddles of vanilla
ice cream sundae drip.
Oreo knights dip hazelnut swords in milk,
and upon confectionary impact,
crumble into cookie sprinkle blizzard bits.
The pecan cream pie sun beams
jelly beans through receding holes
in pink cotton candy clouds.
From the comfort
of his gingerbread abode,
the jelly donut king rises from
his red velvet cake throne,
takes a lollipop microphone,
and sings his sweet praises
to this beloved candy land
he is proud to call home.
