In Scattered Prose
it was a fragment of the heart
dismissed as a figment of imagination
that slipped through the cracks
of a formation, once solid, now fragile
dribbling down the absent tangent
off supple curves of the lost petals
scented with the missing fragrance
whiffing off the formidable punch
and then the stars spelt out
the name and its place in destiny
hard to pronounce, much less denounce

- And so I tried imagination crippled by cracks missing the beauty curves and losing its fragrance, only because destiny said so!
