Inappropriate Happiness
We count the good days
“Extended use of prednisone can bring on inappropriate happiness”. I would rather you be happy at the most inconvenient time than for you to be sad.
The laundry list of side effects is long,
it's not the first and it won't be the last.
Illness sneaks in like it owns the place,
steals everything and throws everything around,
a twister in a trailer park.
