A Poem

Photo by Paul Blenkhorn @SensoryArtHouse on Unsplash

Trauma abilities
shelter themselves & understanding
Nothing new
or good about this map
The grass sticks to every step
in the direction of wind
in the agony of the modified virtue
In outline
the shadows mean another
space has been vacated
though not nailed down
Never nailed down
passing through the remembrance
of targeted emotions
breaking slippery holds
an opening of variety & consequence
Smoothing through
