Wednesday Prose Poem: what’s in your veins?

Wonder, if what’s in my veins resembles the LA River?
Old bikes and skateboard wheels. A tire — almost new.
Maybe Barbie and Ken, walking hand in hand, sharing
dreams that will never come true — because they’re not real.
