Nature is what made us
Nature is what raised us
Some call it god
Some call it gods

Capitalism is what breaks us
Capitalism is what shakes us
Some call it freedom
Some call it money

Nature gives
then takes it all away
Everything is temporary

Capitalism takes
then gives you what you can afford
Unless there is luck, this feels permanent

Nature loves and nurtures
We are all the same in its eyes

Capitalism divides and screws us
We are all different through its eyes

Nature is our beginning and end
Capitalism is the bit in between

Ask yourself where do you find more truth?

Capitalism may seem more sincere and dependable
but it has erected a façade on your worth

Nature on the other hand is never pretending
Everything is temporary and anything can happen
A pandemic should be enough of a reminder

Nature always wins in the end,
so stop pretending you are better then the rest
you, me, she, he, it, they,
all labels made up by men and women

The only truth is WE
We are one

We start as a drop and end in dust
The bit in between is what we make of it …

Please don’t let capitalism ruin your relationship with nature

This time the playlist I listened to as I wrote this. Hope you like it. :)

Keeping things to yourself? I wonder how long it will take for things to get too much. Express yourself!
