I don’t know about you, but October was a blur. And November (at least in the U.S.) has begun in real emotional turmoil. I am so grateful for writing—the ability to express myself, hear from others, create, and take in all humanity. To me, art heals. Art gives us something to believe in. Art brings communities together. This is what I think we need.

Thank you for being such a warm community of literary-minded humans. We value your feedback. Scrittura is the publication it is today because of our writers’ genuine and creative words and the consistent readership of our subscribers.

“Wonderful Words” is a selection of our twelve favorite pieces from the previous month. We value human connection, attention to detail, and quality writing. Our favorites are subjective, of course. The editors (Viraji, Zay, Ann, and Samantha) hope you will enjoy the variety showcased here.
