On encountering the Highland Coo

Lessons in living from observing the wildlife above Loch Tay

Winding up above the water
Nearing breakfast I was glad
and like a child, sweetly saddened
To be the giant to have to mind my step
Round pockets of drop-laden
spider web catchments
off the beaten track,
adjacent gossamery ferns.
