Optical Illusion

A Poem

Watercolour on paper by the author

Color-drenched
brush touches
pores of paper
it shies away
then ripples
with rapture
a kiss follows
making both
bouncy, supple
the brush leaves
in a rhapsody
to return fast
with new color
coherent with
paper’s lucency
more liquid hue
deeper imprints
values of love
flowing subtle
